Ingredients

  • 12 oz Frozen Raspberries (or 1 pound fresh)
  • 1 tablespoon agave syrup or 1 tsp monk fruit (to taste)
  • ½ cup Liquid Remedy’s Raspberry Lemonade kombucha
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice (optional)
  • Topping (vegan): Whipped cream, Cinnamon, Fresh raspberries, Mint leaves (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Raspberries: If using fresh raspberries, wash them thoroughly and pat them dry. If using frozen raspberries, there's no need to thaw them.
  2. In a blender, combine the raspberries, agave, Raspberry Lemonade kombucha, and lemon juice (if using). Blend until smooth.
  3. Pour the raspberry mixture into a shallow glass or ceramic pan.
  4. Place the pan in the freezer. After about 30 minutes, use a fork to scrape and stir the mixture. This helps create the granita texture. Continue to check and scrape every 30 minutes until the granita is fully frozen and fluffy. This usually takes about 2 - 3 hours.
  5. Once the granita is frozen and has a fluffy, icy texture, scoop it into bowls or glasses. You can garnish with extra raspberries, vegan whipped cream, cinnamon and/or mint leaves.
